Ultra Music Festival is an annual outdoor electronic music festival that takes place in March in the city of Miami during the annual Winter Music Conference. It is usually held in Downtown Miami in Bicentennial Park, but will be held at Bayfront Park for the upcoming 2012 festival.
It was a 1-day festival from 1999-2006, a 2-day festival from 2007-2010, and a 3-day festival in 2011. It is one of the highest grossing music festivals in the world. In 2011, over 100,000 people were in attendance at the event.

Ultra Music Festival 2012 will be held March 23, 24, 25 at Bayfront Park. Early Bird pre-sale tickets for Ultra 2012 sold out within 20 minutes (seconds according to the Ultra Music Festival Facebook Page) amidst crashing servers. Shortly thereafter, pre-sale tickets increased from $149 to $229. As of now, ticket prices are in the "advanced stage" at $299.99 plus tax & shipping fees for three day general admission, and $599.99 for three days VIP admission.
